How to share a printer to your laptop:

Step One: Find Computer Name

*This step must be done on the computer that is plugged into your printer.

Click: Start
Right Click: My Computer
Click: Properties
Click: Computer Name
Write down or copy the computer name ending at the dot. You do not need the .dcps.duval.us

Step Two: Add the Printer

*This step is done on your laptop.

Click: Start (green button on bottom left of screen)
Click: Run
Enter 2 forward slashes (\\) and computer name
Click: ok
Right Click on the printer you are installing
Click: Connect

To Print a Test Page:
Right Click on the printer
Click: properties
Click: Print test page
